I paid whole but some features couldn't be opened
Love it! Only one flaw. You need to go to the stockfish website and download stockfish 14 zipfile (or latest version) and extract it to a folder on your device. Then under the settings in Perfect Chess Trainer you disable default engine and then click on navigate to engine, then navigate to the downloaded file in the folder you extraacted. Now the stockfish engine in tne app will work. The one they default install crashes the app.
App would crash constantly, but I fixed this issue by changing the engine being used to stockfish 13. Also app from amazon play store worked for me and it had stockfish 8 that's where i got idea to change engine. Version in amz is 1.60.0. Engine download from stockfish website
The app could be an amazing learning tool, but it literally is freezing all the time during the Guess the Move option. Every time when the actual move is not guessed correctly and Stockfich engine starts working, the app becomes unresponsive. I see that similar complains were expressed by others as early as in 2019. But, it seems that the developer has abandoned working on the app. I have the paid version and I do believe it's unfair decision towards me and other users.
This could be the absolute best chess trainer app if it wasn't for the constant crashes. There's plenty of great content on the app and worked out variations of traps in popular openings. But the app is in a state where it's completely unplayable. When this gets fixed I will promise to change my review to 5 stars, until then the app is unplayable.
Immediate lock-up on install. Pity. Sounds like that's been a constant problem for this app
I have the pro version. I updated it and it stopped working.
How is it I cant use the lessons I payed for offline?
Keeps crashing. So much promise. Sad
